Rock That Life!!

A reflection & recap of 2020 from my perspective. Trials. Tribulations. Successes. Failures. This is my story and no one else’s. Thank you for helping make 2020 a GOOD year. It was. It was all mindset. I lived. I learned. I’m taking all that to the bank & moving forward.

I have taken a hiatus from this new endeavor; the way the world just flipped upside down on us, my energy & focus had to be elsewhere. Now it’s time to talk & reflect and move forward.

This is going to be the most random Podcast ever! I am going to let you into my dance world a bit and take you ‘behind the scenes’ and expose all the glitz & glamour of this part of my life. Oh, I might also share some things about my experiences in grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Hang on, this one might get me into trouble!

How I have noticed the way attitudes change depending on age and the lifestyle we live. How stress starts at too early an age, how we can change our attitudes to reflect on the positive rather than all the negative in our faces these days.....and, perhaps ‘road rage.’ Yeah. That’s certainly an attitude adjustment I need. Let’s visit about our ‘tudes.

In this episode we will explore music, moods, how it’s important to our workouts & overall day to day functions. Why do we like this, but not that? How does it effect our energy or our attitude? Can it trigger a memory in a positive or negative way? Why do own the music we do? Let’s dive into some music talk!

Hate working out? Or do you LOVE working out? Are you the early bird who gets it done first thing? Maybe you crush your workout during the lunch hour or after work. Whatever works for you just make sure you GET IT IN! You’re mind, body, health is so worth it!

It’s January when this ‘cast came out - let’s talk about your resolutions...do you make them? How long until you fall off the wagon? Are you consistent? How do you stay motivated? Where does your accountability come from? Did you set attainable goals? Let’s talk about it - why they do work & why they don’t. This is the perspective of TRawckk.

In this episode I will explain how my dance fitness class works - what participants can expect, how I teach - AND WHY - the layout, flow, playlist....it’s actually pretty straightforward, but maybe not everyone knows WHY I do WHAT I do; now I am going to explain! This is not a ‘teaching tutorial....’ this is my story. 😊

How ‘AWESOME’ soon became overwhelm. Trying to figure out my next plan of action I ended up going independent. It has been an amazing experience with many peaks and lots of valleys. You may have experienced ‘with me,’ but unless you were dancing in my shoes, you really don’t know how it felt. Listen in!

Figuring out that you are not being very successful at something is a tough pill to swallow. How do we find solutions to our current problems? How do we trouble shoot? How can we take constructive criticism & make ourselves better & be open to evolving?
