There is only one thing that is at the center of our faith. It is easy to lose sight of that thing when we're distracted by this life.

What is worship? We can ask this question and receive a variety of different answers. Asking why we worship gets us to the root purpose of worship.

The personal journey of discipleship calls Christ followers to a life of servanthood and service through radical love for neighbor. How can we learn to serve our communities better and reduce the observable hardship so many in the world face?

Our faith is not meant to be solitary, in fact we grow better together! We become more Christlike when we live as the body of Christ, our community helps form us to whom God wants us to be!

God's love is an overflowing gift to us, it can not be earned and it not based on us or our value. It is based on God's nature which is love. Allow God's love to fill you and you will then become love for those you meet.

Psalm 130 is part of a section of psalms called the Psalms of Ascent. These are the psalms the people of Israel sang as they went up to Jerusalem for the Holy Days and Festivals. This worship song is one of hope even in the midst of tough times. Hope anchors our soul to Christ.

The author of Hebrews is writing to the church that is facing persecution from all sides and the message is to keep the faith! When we are facing trying times, our call is to keep the faith and persevere knowing that Christ will come through.
