Stewardship includes all that we have and all that we are - all of the time. God desires that we be a generous people. “For God so loved the world that He gave His Son.” A mark of faithful discipleship is found in our desire and willingness to be givers rather than takers. As Christians we are called to give out of our need to express generosity as we seek to live a faith-filled life.

Jesus reconciled us to God, forgiving us of our sins. That means that we must try to live a sinless life, but if we fail we can still receive forgiveness to God. We also must practice forgiveness among ourselves because it heals ourselves and helps heal the world in Jesus name.

After Jesus left, he entrusts his ministry to the church! Yes, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, but God expects the church to move. We are also part of the spiritual union between the church that has come before and the church that is today. Only through the mighty resources of God can we fulfill our call to make disciples of all nations!
