Often times we get so afraid of failure that we choose not to act, thus creating the very situation we feared. Yet God is with us, teaching us to not be afraid and to go and try. Faith is often about taking risks, trying something new. We have to believe if we act faithfully and fail, it will not disappoint God.

Fear has been turned into a weapon today. Politicians, news, companies use fear to motivate us to vote for them, watch their shows, and buy their products. Our response as Christians is F.E.A.R.:

Fear is a natural, biological process as a response to certain events in our lives. The story of faith is, however, that we refuse to let fear rule our lives but rather turn to and trust our faith. We need to focus on Jesus so that he will help us through our fear by knowing we are not alone!
