Meet Maxwell Nee, a dynamic individual who has a zest for life and shares a passion for entrepreneurship. 

During the interview, Max challenges us to learn if we've ever thought about prioritizing FREEDOM over MONEY.  Or, do we intentionally seek out challenging environments to force growth as human beings? These are some of the values Max lives by. 

A bit about Maxwell and why we should listen to him.  Max is a wine & whisky lover and investment enthusiast. He’s delivered talks to >10,000 people and has been featured in Forbes & Wealth Insider for building a multi-award-winning online education company.  Prior to that, Max was a finance professional who managed $100M+ businesses for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.  Max is now the Managing Partner of the OENO Wine & Whisky Investment Fund and OENO Wine Whisky Investment Australia. He has been featured in The Australian Business Review, Courier Mail, and on Australian radio educating investors on how wine & whisky can deliver a non-correlated return to their portfolios. OENO – (“Greek for wine”) pronounced (oh-en-oh).  In addition, Maxwell co-founded the Australian Family Office Association after meeting families who wanted to co-invest with his own family office, the Nee Family Office. Together, a small community of his peers shares luxury experiences, deal flow, philanthropic donations, service providers, funds, and access to the broader Family Office Network (FON) headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida USA.

For more than 10 years, Maxwell has been giving back to his alma mater, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) where he mentored Executive MBA candidates during their international immersion program with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA. He has facilitated keynote presentations, and coached, and mentoring to 10,000+ people. Maxwell has also competed as a bodybuilder and hip-hop dancer/performer.

Maxwell has received written acknowledgments of his character and contribution to others from an Australian Governor (Administrator), and the co-founder of B1G1 (Buy 1 Give 1) – a platform businesses use to do good in the world. For example, every time a ticket was purchased to one of his events, B1G1 delivered a nutritious lunchbox to a child in the rural Philippines.

Meet Liam James Collins - an inspiration.

Liam grew up in a poor area of London to salt-of-the-earth, hardworking self-employed parents.  He was disregarded as a lost cause in the one size fits all U.K school system guiding him to forge his own path.

Meet Fergus Dyer-Smith, a self-professed initiator of ideas and business enterprise.  Fergus recalls having a job “once” that lasted a year.

It was fascinating to spend time with Fergus to learn how his mind works and understand the qualities that make a successful entrepreneur. Fergus’s voracious independence and laid-back inquisitive approach to life are extraordinary and have led him on an exciting adventure.  He discusses never being interested in money or having any aspirations to have a regular job, yet he has experienced success in business and in life beyond expectations valuing time over material things.

In recent years, Fergus founded the VC-backed technology scale-up business Wooshi Video Production Agency which began life in humble beginnings during Fergus’s several-year stint in Portugal where he spent his days raising a young family and nurturing his passion for surfing.   Wooshii has now grown to work with blue chips such as Amazon, Booking.com, Microsoft, and Shangri-La Hotels helping them scale their video content/solutions via Wooshii’s online network and software solutions platform.

Fergus’s scientific and creative mind has helped him hone his skills as an entrepreneur and a master marketeer resulting in attracting the right investment and talent to build Wooshi into a multi-million-dollar global organization with operations in London, LA, and Newcastle.

Meet Will Van Zyl, wellness coach and founder of Axiom Measurement and one of the highest-rated Wim Hof instructors in the UK.

South African born and raised, we learn how Will spent much of his childhood exploring the forests, rivers, and African savanna.

Will discovered the Wim Hoff method and met the great man himself attending one of three of Wim’s intensive training modules at his winter retreat after his high-adrenaline corporate life caught up with him and guided him to greater self-awareness. Brett Sanders, loves fresh, soft, and healthy underarms. When The Natural Deodorant Co. launched in 2015, the business set out to prove that natural deodorant really could outperform mainstream alternatives.  At the time, all of the other natural deodorant brands on the market were inadequate. Brett and his fellow founder, Laurie Hooper, knew it could be done better. They have since developed an exceptional product that is superior to the alternatives.  The rest is history!  What started out as a dream at the dining room table has grown into an incredible community of loyal fans and amazing retail partners.
