In this episode, we continue to educate ourselves on classic horror movies we really should have seen by now. This time, Nate watched The Shining! As always, there are spoilers, so check it out if you haven't already, then come on back for Nate's first impressions, and some wild mass guessing by Jay and James.

Oh, and I wasn't there, so my capsule review is this: Kubrick really captured the isolation and unease that was the mood of the book, but rather than tell a story about a damaged man attempting to overcome his demons and a kid growing to use the gifts he'd been given, he told a story about some creepy kid and his creepy dad totally freaking out a screaming lady. Very spook, much scare. Watch the axe scene in slow mo, it's delightful. 8/10
