Dr. Meguid hopes that by sharing his story, he will shine light on many of the emotional and psychological struggles patients face through their illness and recovery, and how providers can be allies for their patients in ways beyond treating disease.

In this episode, Jason spoke to one of our co-residents at UCH Bobby Torphy about his experience as a research fellow. Bobby shared a number of tips for being a successful surgeon scientist and spoke about applying for grants, manuscript writing, organizing your research, and the benefits of completing dedicated research time as a resident.
