How many people in your life can you honestly call a REAL friend?

In Episode 221 of the R.O.D Podcast, we’re having a Real Open Dialogue about friendship, loyalty, trust, jealousy, betrayal, and outgrowing people.

We use the word “friend” loosely, but knowing somebody for 10, 15, or even 20 years doesn't automatically mean they're truly your friend. Sometimes the only thing holding a friendship together is history.

Can a person love you and secretly compete with you? Can somebody support you until you start doing better than them? When does loyalty become stupidity? And how do you know when you've simply outgrown somebody?

But this conversation isn't only about pointing fingers at other people. We also have to ask ourselves a harder question:

What kind of friend am I?

Real friendship should include honesty, accountability, respect, loyalty, and genuinely wanting to see each other grow.
