RodeoKids.com Podcast

Today's RodeoKids Podcast episode features lifetime family friend, entrepreneur and goal getter, Lindsey West! She shares her experiences growing up in a rodeo family, how they shaped her thinking and sparked her entrepreneurial spirit, mindset, and leveling up in life.

At the end of the day, we're all in it together. Even when we're living in God's purpose for us, we get tired, we feel defeated, we struggle, we get lonely and sometimes get to where we almost give up. Until...we get help!

In the book of Exodus, we learn that Moses got help from Aaron and Hur to lift his arms that were holding God's staff so the Israelites could defeat the Amalekites.  Just like Moses, sometimes we need someone else to help lift our arms when we get tired. Other times, we get to lift another person's arms when they get tired, because at the end of the day, we're all on the same team!

Tilden Hooper's titles and talents certainly weren't handed to him! Who would ever guess that this 2x American Rodeo Champion Bareback Rider and 8x NFR Qualifier has never owned a "saddle" horse, lives in town, wasn't a stellar athlete in high school athletics, was later than most getting started riding bareback horses and to this day uses two pieces of plywood and a few 2x4s?

We all have gold buckle dreams of some sort. Maybe your goals aren't inside an arena, but there's something we all want to accomplish. RodeoKids Podcast host, Camarie Widmer, shares some insight into what it takes to get to the top, characteristics of a champion, sponsorship tips and remembering what it's all worth at the end of the day!

We are human! We all face feelings, thoughts and emotions that want to tie us down and keep us from fully chasing our dreams somedays. Confidence can be a struggle. Turning obstacles into opportunities, can be challenge. Strengthening our weaknesses can threaten the security we feel inside our comfort zone!

BUT....when we're chasing dreams, we GET to do it anyway! With Good Lord's help, we can take it on! This RodeoKids Podcast episode breaks down finding confidence and serenity in chasing our dreams with the help of the Serenity Prayer!

When you hear World Champion Steer Wrestler and 5x National Finals Rodeo Qualifier, Tyler Pearson, talk you'll know he's not just a champion in the arena, but in life.
