My guest today is one of the most respected BBQ pitmasters in the country. He cooked his first whole hog when he was 11 years old at his family’s BBQ spot in Hemingway, South Carolina. Now, four decades later he owns one of the country’s most awarded BBQ spots: Rodney Scott BBQ in Charleston SC. Most recently he released the cookbook "Rodney Scott World of BBQ, Recipes and Perspectives From the Legendary Pitmaster".
