My guest today how can I put this, well she is for food like the Beatles are for music. An activist, chef, restaurateur and author.  Her life changed when she came back from Paris in the late 1960’s and in 1971 She opened Chez Panisse . A pioneer farm to table movement that at the time as non-existing in this. She wrote several books including her memoir Coming to My senses: the making of counterculture cook. In 2014 he wrote The Third Plate, In 2022 he ranked 25th best chef in the world by the best chef awards, and the year before that 22nd.

My guest today s is one of the most renowned Portuguese Chefs and restaurateur in the world. In 2012 he opened Belcanto the famous restaurant in Lisbon, and a few years after the restaurant was distinguished with 2 Michelin stars. This year the restaurant was awarded number 46th best restaurant in the world AND ALSO IN 2022 HE WAS considered number 86 the best chef in the world.

New Zealand born, he has led kitchens in restaurants in London, Sydney and Melbourne.
