If a patient presents with a prosthetic that needs replacing, this technique facilitates the ability for the laboratory to create a duplicate prosthetic based on analog or digital records.
The RAPID Appliance is a very strategic component of CHROME GuidedSMILE. It is an exact duplicate of the surgical prosthetic. It is picked up the day of surgery, held until the time of final conversion, and used to send nearly all records to ROE for the final. A unique and time-saving device.

This week, we're joined by Jimmy Stegall (Procedural Solutions Specialist at Dentsply Sirona).
Methods of creating and fabricating removable prosthetics have seen relatively minor changes in the past… that is, until now. The development and adaptation of computer-designed and machine-manufactured prosthetics are here – and changing the way we are accomplishing the clinical and laboratory steps for complete dentures!
Now, with the advent of even better CAD/CAM technologies for complete dentures, Dentists and laboratories can provide patients with more predictable results, that can be done in fewer, simpler, yet more accurate steps.
This episode will review denture fabrication methods and show what techniques have changed (and what has not). The latest in 3D printing processes and materials will be highlighted, showing their strength, accuracy, and esthetics.
Systematic clinical guidelines for the 3 appointment denture will be presented that make the chairside steps and results more predictable and easier to accomplish. This program is ideal for Dentists and staff that have been frustrated with denture steps, materials, and procedures.
Since the late 1980s, ROE Dental Laboratory has fabricated Valplast restorations with excellent results. Valplast is a flexible denture base resin that is ideal for partial dentures and unilaterals. Guaranteed for the life of the patient by Valplast International Corp. not to break, Valplast will replace the restoration free of charge if breakage occurs. Valplast provides a fully functional yet aesthetically superior removable restoration. When you need extra stability, we recommend fabricating a Valplast Hybrid. This type of case is designed with a metal framework in order to include rest seats and prolong the life of the appliance in the event your patient needs teeth added.

CHROME C2F (patent pending) is the CHROME philosophy of Small Hole Technology. This means delivering immediate prosthetics, during a CHROME surgery, with very small holes, rather than the typical industry-standard large holes. Small Hole Technology dramatically improves the performance of prosthetics and maintains the principal structure of the manufactured material.
