Matthew 5:10

Persecution isn’t proof that you’ve lost the kingdom, persecution is proof you belong to it. Those who endure persecution for covenant faithfulness to Christ, show themselves to be heirs of the Kingdom of heaven.

2 Peter 1:1-11

God, in his grace and mercy, sent his son into the world to save a specific people called the elect, each one elected to be wholly and blameless shall conform to the likeness of Jesus and enjoy paradise with God. This means all the elect of God shall be saved.
