When I lived in America, I did plenty of church. Though I made it work abroad, the forced positivity I'd created wouldn't last in the UK. In What America Did to Me, I talk about how I went from worshiping the church to despising its practices. Why is there such a long pause between some of my episodes? Many reasons - but predominantly this one: a lack of confidence. I have decided that so much of what we hesitate, procrastinate and excuse ourselves from doing comes down to a big fat lack of confidence/self-doubt. It's sad, it's silly, the sooner you become aware of it, the better. I hope me blabbing on (and on) about it helps you in some kinda way. Enjoy pals x
