For Paul's, the Church, filled by Jesus, in Christ, and blessed by the Father, fills all creation as ambassadors of the Messiah. They have His Spirit, and by His Spirit, they proclaim the message of the gospel to all creation. They are the blessed community that carries the mission of blessing the world by proclaiming the reconciliation of all things in Jesus, ​the Messiah.

After our brief introduction to the book of Ephesians, in this audio, we will cover the first two verses of Ephesians 1. This letter could be divided into two sections: Doctrine (chapters 1 to 3) and Exhortation (chapters 4 to 6). Of course, following Paul’s letter structure, Ephesians presents not only a greeting statement and a thanksgiving fragment, but​ it also introduces a blessing. In this sermon, we will find the theological meaning in Paul's greeting to the Ephesians.

Ephesians is an essential book for our Christian faith. N.T. Wright likes to say that if the Reformers had focused on Ephesians instead of Romans, our Western Christianity would have been entirely different. In this audio, you will discover the central theme of Ephesians, the reconciliation of all things in Jesus Christ, and the implications of this powerful reality.
