I’M A LIAR

(I’M A LIAR

(verse 1)

I don’t like you

I don’t like you because you’re not pretty

You’re not smart or talented

And sometimes you walk funny

I hate your laugh

I’m not too fond of your smile

And I hate the way you say my name

(Chorus)

I’m a liar

Ain’t it clear

Lying here alone right now

Wishing you were here

I’m a liar

I can admit

Let’s go back to Amsterdam

And start all over again

I don’t like you because

In just a few short days

You’ve got on my nerves

I hate the way you talk

I can’t stand the way you smile

And for some odd reason, you appeared in a perfectly normal dream

And made it a nightmare

I wish you would just go away

I never want to see you again

I never want to hold your hand

I never want to kiss you

I never want to know what it’s like to wake up next to you

(Chorus)

I’m a liar

Ain’t it clear

Lying here alone right now

Wishing you were here

I’m a liar

I can admit

Let’s go back to Amsterdam

And start all over again

(Bridge)

to look at your eyes lids flutter in rem

I never want to gently bite your bottom lip

Or caress your hair to help you fall asleep

I shudder at the thought

Of you seeing me across a crowded room

And cutting your conversation short just to find me.

Why are you still here?

Don’t you understand that there is nothing about you

That makes me want to pull your body close to mine

And gently grab your neck

Just to say … where have you been all my night…

For lack of better words

You are the worse
