After making a mess of things in Neon, Roman and Youngblood seek refuge in a local swampy town! Little did they know that in this isolated village, they would also find a mystery... and meet some familiar friends...

Welp… I think Roman, Youngblood, and Noise have found out who has been kidnapping all the Bard Guards around the city of Neon… because they too are now the prisoners of a mysterious tall masked cart driver! On this Season 1 Finale of Roleslaying with Roman, Roman learns another aspect of music, Youngblood learns a dark truth about his friend, Noise, and all of them learn that there is a greater force at play in this land… perhaps on par with the Bard King himself…

Roman and Youngblood are now the prisoners of the Bard King’s Royal Marching Band! Their First Chair (and Youngblood’s old friend), Noise, has offered them a deal: help them with an investigation, and they won’t go to jail. Bard Guards have been mysteriously disappearing all over the city of Neon and it’s up to our heroes to begrudgingly find out why…

Upon entering the electric city of Neon, Youngblood has been sniffed out by his old Bard College mate, Noise, who reveals to him that since Youngblood’s — ahem — sudden and immediate departure, he has taken over the role of First Chair. There’s clearly some old beef between these two… would Roman get to find out? Well, I suppose he might get some answers… if they survive Noise’s challenge: A Battle of the Bards. It’s going down!!

It’s the conclusion of Chapter 1! IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS!! Roman and Youngblood... squaring off against a child... WHO HAS TURNED INTO A BEAR!! But will it really be that simple? And is that really my definition of "simple"? Either way... these little orphans STILL have Roman's family sword. Roman will have to do anything to get it back... and he’s gonna need it considering what else they will soon have to deal with that day…
