A Life of Humble Service - John 13 We reflect Christ when we serve others with humility. Jesus washed the disciples feet as the lowest servant in the house. Jesus provides the greater washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 50:15-21 Joseph is spiritual, knowing and loving God's unchanging plan that God had revealed to him. Joseph's brothers are carnal, lying to Joseph about their dead father, supposing their lying testimony will preserve their wealth. They are idiots, because they intentionally refuse to comprehend God's unchanging plan that God had revealed to their little brother Joseph. Sometimes skepticism is harmful, sometimes it is beneficial. What's the difference? The difference may be only the object of the skepticism. John 20:24-29

Because of God's promises and salvation, we are moved from sadness and groaning to prayers for the world and ourselves. From Romans 8:18-27. The idea is that we need strong motivation to continue to pray wisely in the world affected by sin. This message may have began with a sermon outline from a "Preach for a Year" book by Campbell, but I can't remember for sure.

God promises to make His people mighty if they will ask Him. We need to ask God to fulfill His promises and glorify Himself through our lives. Zechariah 10:1-12
