Today’s reading takes us to Romans 12, where Paul shows us what the Christian life should look like personally, within the family of God, and in the world. Because of the mercies of God, we are called to present our bodies as living sacrifices—not becoming less alive when we lay sin down, but becoming more alive in Christ as we worship Him with surrender.

Romans 12 reminds us that the world is constantly trying to conform us from the outside in, but God transforms us from the inside out through the renewing of our minds. As we dwell on His Word, we begin to live differently: honoring one another, serving as one body, responding to the world with grace, and showing that true worship is not just what we sing, but what we surrender.
