Romantasy Chaos HQ Pod

Welcome to Romantasy Chaos HQ–The Podcast! In this bonus episode, we are sharing the “Stump AX Harleston” portion of our Virtual Threshing Day Release Party. The trivia was put together by Kate and Rachel of Deep Trope Podcast and Claire at RuningBooks.

This episode was recorded before the release of Threshing Day and does not contain any spoilers for that book. However, it does contain spoilers for Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros.

When we finish the epigraphs for Iron Flame, we will be diving into the epigraphs for Threshing Day, and probably a few more guest chats to talk about all the theories that Threshing Day confirmed, debunked, or sparked anew.

SPOILER WARNING: Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros

In this episode, we are decoding the epigraph from chapter 45 of Iron Flame.

It was only in the last fifty years that we realized they were no longer solely coming from the Barrens. They’d begun to take recruits, teaching those who never bonded a gryphon to channel what was not theirs to take, to upset the balance of magic by stealing it from the very source. The problem with mankind is we too often find our souls to be a fair price for power.

SPOILER WARNING: Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros

In this episode, we are decoding the epigraph from chapter 43 of Iron Flame.

From the dangerous waves of the Arctile Ocean to the lowest plains of the Tyrrendor plateau, the Cliffs of Dralor rise to over twelve thousand feet in places, making them unflyable by gryphon. While there are three well-carved paths within Navarre to ascend the plateau, along the Krovlan border exists only one…and it is deadly to both gryphon and flier. Do not attempt under any circumstances.
