A stronghold is a spiritual fortress where evil (the enemy) hides and is protected within our spirit. These fortresses exist in our thought patterns and ideas.

In 2 Corinthians 10 Paul tells the Church that we tear down strongholds with the weapons and strategies of God. So we tear down all strongholds including the stronghold of depression and we take every rebellious thought captive and make it obedient to Jesus!

There is a vital link between your depression and the act of worship. As we see by the example of David, when our soul aches we worship. When we wait on the Lord, we worship. When God lifts us up out of the pit He gives us a new song to sing! We worship in our personal life but we also worship in community. Fight your depression with arms high and hearts abandoned.

God moves people groups so they may reach out and know Him. Right now we see many groups of people being moved around the world so they may hear the gospel? Do you believe that even you are appointed for people to move in and out of your life so they may hear the gospel?

Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He came to serve others and to give His life as ransom for many. Jesus accomplished this ministry by eating and drinking with others. Jesus displayed radical hospitality and we are called to do the same.

One of the main ways to reach people for Christ is to practice hospitality. Biblical hospitality goes beyond christian fellowship. The kingdom of God is on display when we love strangers through our hospitality.
