Why did I say E3? This is and was 5! I still recall being upset by the horrible marketing for this movie, one YT interview channel said director Todd was too embarrassed to be interviewed about the third entry. I've only seen the movie once, I think it's what they thought the first movie was going to look and feel like, it was dark, funny but pretty underwhelming. The first movie had so many laughs packed in, wasn't disturbing or unsettling. Nope, no hangover, nothing intriguing to reel in audiences. Going back to Vegas works fine but shows that it relies on the first movie nostalgia.

Technically the first episode of my "Forever Fast Podcast", which launched in 2014! It's fun listening back to this, I still recall my "Berlin Boost" title. 2011s "Fast Five" ended so positively, that we didn't really expect more entries. Oh golly why didn't I just look up Leo & Santos('s) names?! Paul Walker sadly lost his life in November of the same year I recorded this. I really hope Sean Boswell gets some more screentime and a lead role in F11, great to see him in F9 but why no conversation with Dom?

Huh, that was a very awkward intro. I promise I'm different now! Listening back to this after 10 years, did I make any predictions that came true in the long-awaited sequel? Listening back to this after 10 years! The "Prince" reference I should have phrased differently, as I actually enjoy the music in the movie, it's amazing how the music is loud and bright at times yet the tone of the overall movie is still rather dark. Wow, my Walken was underwhelming, practice has certainly paid off over the years! I still haven't seen 2004s "Catwoman" with Halle Berry, seen clips but nothing reeled me in. The fireplace reference, I didn't remember that! Eesh my Heath Joker was also not very polished! But again, I've certainly practiced it over the years since.

Yes, I used "rant" incorrectly back in those days, actually changed episode titles to omit that word.

I can't recall why I abandoned this podcast, made over a dozen episodes in 2013, and though I soon after began my Fast and Furious podcast - there was still plenty of other stuff to talk about! Anyways, the last Die Hard (5) didn't blow me away. I haven't even watched it since, it's that bad. The "McClane" prequel sadly was abandoned after Bruce Willis' diagnosis but frankly I think it's best the franchise dies (hard) with him. Don't get me wrong, I just mean this series with John. His son and or daughter could take over or the series will likely be rebooted someday. I still find this movie really odd overall, I think another director could have handled it better but that's all subjective. Putting up all eps of my former RonPodcast so stay tuned!
