The televangelist leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Apollo Quiboloy tells his followers that he is the "Appointed Son of God". Quiboloy also claims to have the power to stop earthquakes and call for plagues to fall upon his enemies.   

With lunatics ramming Christmas parades, the threat of empty shelves, a million immigrants flooding the border, prices sky-high, and politics as usual, what on earth is there to be grateful for?   

Has today’s church become tolerant towards sin? Has it lost its vision of preaching the Gospel in every corner of the world? Is the Body of Christ no longer salt and light and so now failing to attract the lost?   

We've all heard horror stories, but what was life like for Willie growing up during the time of segregation in the South? What was it like to be on the receiving end of racist hatred? More importantly, are things any better today?

Is there really a difference between a democracy and a republic? Which is the Philippines? And which is the United States? But perhaps more importantly, should it even matter to a Christian, including one in the Republic of the Philippines? Isn't the Church supposed to stay separate from the State?

Jesus said, "... all who take up a sword will perish by a sword." (Matthew 26:52). And yet hundreds of years ago in the US, the Founding Fathers, the vast majority of whom were Bible-believing Christians decided to write the 2nd Amendment and give their citizens the right to bear arms.  

If one of the apostles were to walk into a millennial church today, how do you think they would feel? Do you suppose they would feel right at home? Even better, if it was your church they walked into, would they have any qualms at all worshiping with you?

Has anyone ever told you that, with only one exception, all the people in the Bible who did all those amazing things were ordinary men and women?   

What happens when you’re down on your knees pleading for God’s intervention but don’t get a response? What happens when you're oh so desperate about a troubled marriage or work situation but still God seems nowhere to be found? When your whole world feels like it's caving in, didn't God promise He would always be there to rescue you?
