This year, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Devil's Advocate to celebrate the growth and longevity of the newspaper. In this episode we are going to talk to Robin Cox Eury, the first Copy Editor of Devil's Advocate, about her time at Stanton and on the Devil's Advocate staff.

Stanton is known for being an academically rigorous school and students must put in time and efforts if they want to succeed. However, students often complain about the heavy workload presented at Stanton. In this episode of the podcast, we will explore the question of whether this stress is a product of the workload or student procrastination.

Staff Writer Kendall Ford interviews Juliana Thint on her experience in the Stanton Music Department and plans for the future.

2022 saw a significant bounce back in the movie industry. In this episode, staff videographer Carlos Alvarez and Stanton film teacher Mr. Cox will offer their predictions for the upcoming March 12th Oscars. 

It's February, which means that the Multicultural Showcase, one of the most anticipated events at Stanton, is coming up soon. In this episode, we will be talking to Multi officers to learn what is involved in running the club and show, as well as talking to other Stanton students to learn about the public opinion of Multi. We will also hear from Spurthi Nrusimhadevara, who will be reviewing rom-coms.

This episode will focus on the medium of food. We will be talking to Stanton students who like to bake to learn why they enjoy it, and how it benefits their mental health and personal lives. We will also talk to Carlos Alvarez, who will be reviewing Black Adam.

As athletes play in highly popular games such as the Stanton Paxon game, they can spend weeks and months preparing for the day of the game. But with sports comes injuries, and in this episode of the podcast we will be covering the pressure that many athletes experience to perform in their sport despite facing serious injuries. Today's episode will also contain a new segment in which we bring someone on the podcast to review a book, movie, or album.

The first two months of the 2022-23 school year are officially behind us, meaning that we are well into the school year. With Club Fair passing and everyone thinking about which clubs to join, today's podcast will be focused on Stanton clubs. We interviewed various club officers to learn more about their clubs, along with what's involved with running one.

We interviewed a freshman and a senior to see their differing perspectives during their first week of school, as well as asking you to ask us questions about the upcoming school year.
