    Happy 2021 everyone!

    For our first episode of the new year, we will be touching on a more sensitive and long standing topic. Hijab and Nursing. It has been raised and discussed several times on why muslim nurses in Singapore should/should not be allowed to wear their hijab during their course of duty.

    Along with the topic of hijab, we deviated slightly to touch on other similar issues like, nurses having visible tattoos. Is our society ready to accept them? Does having tattoos determine the dedication and quality of work of a nurse?

    In this episode, we will discuss all that. At the end of the day, it is merely a discussion, not a proposal to our nation.

    2020 has come to an end, it was definitely not the best year for most of us but somehow we still pressed on.
    The healthcare scene has definitely seen better days but regardless, we have responded to our call of duty and fulfilled our duty of care. The healthcare industry in Singapore has definitely showed their resilience and also strengthened the camaraderie during these tough times.
