We can see a lot of good coming out of this dark moment, but make no mistake, we are missing something when we are separated. How should we cope with this separation from our Christian family?

The Bible tells us how we can follow Jesus, no matter the circumstance. The genius of God handed down a way of living that can be applied to a Roman soldier living two thousand years ago to the stay-at-home, remote worker with a busy schedule of Zoom calls.

We're out of the studio today in one of the reserved prayer spots at the local hospital to talk about how we can serve healthcare workers during this crisis.

This is a confusing, frustrating, and anxious time for everyone, but it can be on a whole other level for kids. For parents at home (and grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends, teachers, and all Christians helping them from a distance) it’s so important that we share biblical wisdom and peace with the kids around us.

Millions are grappling with the uncertainty of unemployment, the anxiety of financial strain, and the temptations that come with being idle. Nothing will make that easy, the Bible promises that there is an opportunity to bear fruit even through the storm of joblessness.

Over and over in the Bible we are told that if we can’t separate fact from fiction then it won’t be long before everything else comes crashing down around us, so what should we do as we face this wave of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and out-and-out lies on our newsfeeds?

If this pandemic has demonstrated just one spiritual truth it’s that we can’t control everything that happens in our lives. Join us for this first episode of Rooted Daily Season 4 as we look for answers in God's Word for how Christians should react when we are forced to change our plans.

God knows what we need and He will provide. Our challenge is to see that tremendous truth even when God's provision differs from what we expect.

We all have a temptation to slip into the complacency. When the going is easy, it’s hard to tell whether we are sitting on the fence or not. It’s when things get hard that we find out who we are, and the only way we prepare for that moment is by putting our foundation on the Words of Jesus.
