Matthew 5:32-37 Oaths.Jesus begins to retrain his listeners understanding of oath making and telling the truth. He cuts straight to the heart of the matter once again and calls for our “yes” to simply be “yes” and “no” to simply be “no”.

Matthew 5:30-32 The Beauty of the Covenant.In Matthew 5:31-32, Jesus wants us to see the BEAUTY, the WEIGHT and the CERTAINTY of COVENANT. One of the ways God puts this on display is in the creation of marriage and divorce sadly distorts this.
