The Apostle Paul instructs the church in Corinth on how to exercise these two, often very misunderstood, gifts in a way that builds up the local church. His words are encouraging to us here at Rooted Fellowship 2017, as we seek to embrace all the gifts of the Holy Spirit within our local church context.

The gifts of Holy Spirit are given to the body to contribute to the needs of the saints and to seek to show hospitality. 1 Cor 12:26-30

The Holy Spirit gives us gifts to display the richness of the Trinitarian God and equip the body of Christ - 1 Cor 12:1-11

When we place Jesus in His rightful place - at the very center of our lives - every area of our lives, along with our relationships are transformed. Paul shows us how to be #bettertogehter at home and at work. Colossians 3:18-25 4:1

Paul encourages the church in Colossae to seek Jesus above all others, to be holy and set apart and to love one another as they get into community. This 3rd chapter proves to us that it is indeed #BetterTogether
