It really is a blessing to know our limitations! Sometimes we think that we can just 'pull ourselves up by our bootstraps' and sometimes we buy into the lie that we are useless and can't really accomplish anything... both of these extremes are unhealthy and untrue. In reality we are made in His image with strengths and weaknesses, and its a good thing to be reminded of that as we learn to rely on the Lord more and more.

Hey guys! We are back after a brief two-week break and catching up with you guys (and each other). We also talk a bit about what making the podcast is like and the possibility of a fall event.

With all the recent news about the various scandals within the church, we figured it would be a good time to talk about how we can and should deal with these issues... not just as the local church, but in unity as believers across all denominations. Also, we have a special guest on the show today!

Today we are talking about what seems like one of our generations' biggest everyday struggles... contentment. We are constantly bombarded with messages urging us to compare our lives with those of others or with fiction crafted to breed discontentment in our lives with the purpose of having us purchase something. We instead want to urge you to go to Christ, who's promise is that He will be enough... no matter your circumstance.

Today we are finally getting around to talking about a topic that is near and dear to our hearts.... dating! This is one that we could spend so many hours discussing, but we wanted to talk through some of the basics that are on our hearts, such as: How do you date well? What is the purpose of dating? We also discuss a little bit of our personal history with dating as well as what how our relationship formed before we were married.

Today we talk about what is going on with our podcast (we are moving to weekly podcasts!) and with our busy lives in this crazy season. We also close out our series on Christian Liberty by talking about what are some areas where we have struggled and grown in our walk and discernment as Christians in terms of Christian Liberty.

We are pausing our two-part series on Christian Liberty to cover a topic that came up as part of Christian Liberty... social media! It has become a part of everyday life with those of us who are internet-connected, and the question is: how do we engage in social media well as Christians? Not just that but what are the positive or negative effects of social media on believers and the Church?

Today we are talking about Christian Liberty! We interview Pastor and Teacher John Benz as well as his wife, Char Benz. We discuss some of the theology behind Christian Liberty and some of their personal experiences in growing in this area of their walk with Christ.
