Physical healing is good and can cause astonishment, but the greater healing in this chapter and true astonishment comes from God forgiving our sins. Don't miss the forest for the trees. Throughout this chapter, I hope you take some time and sit in awe of the gospel and of Jesus.
Our chapter closes with these new believers praying, reading God's Word, and taking care of each other. The young church is growing in number and faithfulness. Does your church look like a Spirit-Empowered church?

So here's the thing - only two of these stories align with what Mark invites us to do: come to Jesus and follow Him.
