As we start Micah 1, we are looking into a court case in which God is the judge and Micah is the lawyer. The people of God are on trial and they are guilty. Let us be reminded how much God takes our sin seriously. And let us be reminded that God is patient and long-suffering.

As we conclude Joel, God promises that justice will roll down. This chapter is all about God dealing out justice on the nations who have acted wickedly. It is a glimpse at the character of God. He roars and the earth quakes! His people do not fear, but run to God as a shelter. What was your H.E.A.R. for this chapter?
