05 December 2024 - Larry Plays Records

2 hours of wonky electronic beats from Larry Plays Records

LARRY PLAYS RECORDS:

With over 20 years collecting records to share with people in his DJ sets Larry has built up a versatile selection of sounds. Hunting down rare gems and forgotten favourites to connect with people through moments of shared appreciation.

Records to make heads nod and put smiles on faces, or records to make you move and dance in celebration.

Fully immersing himself in music, playing out most nights every week, while spending his days running community radio station BMC and sorting through records for his stall in Hackney. Loving the never ending musical wonders to be discovered, remembered and shared.

a 3 hour back to back session with my main dude and old time friend Leopold.

UNIFIED RHYTHMS - Hudson's Choice

05 December 2024

An hour of sublime, Deep House goodness from Hudson's Choice.

HUDSON'S CHOICE

2024 was a breakthrough year for Scott. As a producer, he released his debut EP, Myatt’s Field, in collaboration with long-time mentor Jimpster. In the club, he appeared on bills with Session Victim, Mafalda and Crazy P, as well as launching a new party series - Universal Melodies. His DJ sets span soulful house, deeper tech, ecstatic disco and global left-field sounds, while productions bridge trippy slow-mo techno and percussive house jams. With a strong sense of community at the heart of everything he does, the sounds of Hudson’s Choice invite you to feel something deep, deep inside.

Brooke & Rory Cordz - BMC Radio - 5th July 2023 by

I had the pleasure of sharing the decks the lovely Sarahtonin for an extended session at BST, Hyde Park, London... on a not so summery Summers evening at BrewLDN!

The set culminated in quite a heavy downpour with most diving for cover... and the DJ booth getting very cosy while we dug out our best Rain anthems to close.

Tracks from the likes of Phil Weeks, Chaka Khan, Tiger & Woods, Dharma, ANOTR, Rhode & Brown, Blaze, Rahaan, Light Of The World, Koji Ono, First Choice, Ray Mang, Yam Who?, Severino COEO + many more

Well, this was a moment.

We played at the Spike stage in the Glade area on Saturday afternoon amongst a solid crew of our closest friends, some met at the festival on previous days and made some new ones during the set!

The mix is a fusion of the styles that we play separately and weaving together our individual takes on House, UK Garage, Tech House & Hip House...

Had so much fun playing this and can't wait to play more together under our new moniker Keep Movin'
