Castlerea outdoor swimming pool opened on Wednesday 29th June after it was refurbished and local councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice has been telling Seamus Duke about it on the Good Morning Roscommon programme.

This coming Monday night a public meeting will be held in Lecarrow to discuss the crisis at Lough Funshinagh. The meeting has been called by local man Michael Beattie and others. Michael's family is one of those affected by the flooding at :Lough Funshinagh and he has been talking to Seamus Duke about the public meeting.
