Correction can be uncomfortable, but it doesn't have to mean rejection.

Continuing through Luke 3, Pastor Mark Roslund looks at how God brings the crooked places of our lives back into alignment through the people He places around us.

In 2 Samuel 12, the prophet Nathan confronts King David with the truth of his wrongdoing. Through that encounter, we discover why God corrects those He loves, why everyone needs trusted people who can identify their blind spots, and how repentance opens the way toward restoration.

God's correction is not meant to leave us in shame. It is an invitation to return to Him.

Pride is more than arrogance. It can appear as self-sufficiency, self-exaltation, self-righteousness, and the belief that we know better than God.

Through Genesis 3, the church of Laodicea, and other biblical examples, we discover why everything we elevate above God must come down—and why humility opens our lives to His grace.

“Every valley shall be filled.”

Continuing through Luke 3, Pastor Mark Roslund explores what this promise means for the valleys we experience in life.

In the valley of despair, God gives hope. In the valley of shame, Jesus offers forgiveness. And in the valley of pain, God draws near and brings healing.

Whatever valley you find yourself walking through, God has not abandoned you there.

On Vision Sunday 2026, Pastor Mark Roslund shares the vision for the next season of Rose Church: Prepare the Way.
Drawing from John the Baptist’s calling in Luke 3, Rose Church is embracing a vision to remove obstacles, make room for people to encounter Jesus, disciple the next generation, strengthen the local Church, and prepare the way for 100,000 people in Winnipeg to encounter and follow Jesus.
This vision will require faith, sacrifice, obedience, and the participation of the whole church.

Six years ago, Rose Church began with a simple assignment from God: bring hope to the people.

Through uncertainty, opposition, unexpected growth, changed lives, baptisms, salvations, and moments we never could have planned, God has remained faithful.

On Rose Church’s sixth birthday, Pastor Mark Roslund looks to 1 Samuel 7, where Samuel raises a stone called Ebenezer and declares, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”

Remembering what God has already done gives us faith for what He is still going to do.

Six years later, hope still lives here—and we’re just getting started.

Before the fire fell at Pentecost, there was a sound.
