This is to share the Sufi ideas of Shehzada Dara Sukhoh, who just missed out to rule over the Mughal Empire in India. Realizing that the essential attributes of both Islam and Hinduism were identical, he sincerely promoted religious pluralism. Sirr-e-Akbar (The Greatest secret), compiles the Upanishads which the Prince translated into Persian. His book ‘Majma-ul-Bahrain’ (The confluence of seas) elaborates upon the syncretism between Sufism and Vedic philosophies.
