In this episode of the #ROTSB I spoke with Paul Fantham has over 20 years experience in compliance and enforcement roles. A large part of that was with Police. As a front line officer he responded tactically to a lot of domestic, drug or gang related violence. Often this involved knives, firearms or other weapons. Later, as a Detective Paul investigated the most serious types of violence, including sexual assaults, rapes, aggravated robberies and murders. Paul got to hear first hand from victims about how they responded when attacked, what worked and what didn't. Paul has learned a lot from his experience working with victims of these crimes as well studying the behaviour of perpetrators. Paul has been training BJJ at the Combat Room for 5 years now.
