In this episode of the #ROTSB podcast I spoke with Kelsang Shechog a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington & Auckland. She has been studying Kadampa Buddhism since 2003, and was ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2007. Originally from Australia, she has taught meditation and Buddhism in both Sydney & Melbourne, and also helped to develop the temple facilities within Melbourne. She came to NZ in January 2017 - teaching in Wellington until 2019, and at the moment she teaches in both Wellington & Auckland. Shechog originally trained as a physiotherapist, and worked as a a physiotherapist, as well as in the field of public health for many years before ordaining as a Buddhist nun).
