Susan Barker works at Women’s Refuge for over three years, as the lead of our Fundraising and Communications Team. Before Susan was a free-lance journalist and worked in environmental non-profits. She grew up in the United States, in a rural part of Virginia and attended university at George Mason University just outside of Washington DC. Susan have 3 sons and have lived in New Zealand and Australia for the past 14 years.  "I am passionate about helping women and children who are experiencing family violence."
