The Chino Valley girls basketball team battled Scottsdale Christian on the road for most of the game on Saturday evening but struggles with offense in the fourth quarter proved costly in a 35-27 loss. The two teams were within a possession of each other for nearly three quarters of a game that featured multiple lead changes. Chino Valley ended the third quarter well as the Cougars outscored the Eagles 7-2 and took a three-point lead into the final eight minutes of play.
