Roughing the Kicker

With the NFL 53-man roster deadline Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs are forced to cut 27 players from their 80-man preseason roster. During the pandemic-filled offseason, teams were able to keep five more players than usual and a new collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the NFLPA allows teams to expand practice squads from 10 to 12 players. On today's episode, Tucker Franklin and Jordan Foote give their final roster predictions ahead of deadline day.

After the reigning NFL champions locked down their core pieces this offseason, the Kansas City Chiefs didn't stop there. According to a report from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the duo of Andy Reid and Brett Veach have extended their time in Kansas City through the 2025 season.
