'Round the Cauldron

If you convert to Wicca, or any other polytheistic belief system, from Christianity or another monotheistic belief system, there's bound to be some baggage that gets leftover. Join me in this episode for an explanation of that baggage, why it sticks around, and why we need to let it go. Don't forget, you can head over to my shop and use the code "PC15" to get 15% off your order!

Pardon my rambly-ness in this episode. I even got the episode number and previous episode wrong. Its been a hell of a week, and that's what prompted this episode.

Content Warning: Brief mentions of sexual assault, politics, rape, abortion, suicide, etc. No details are mentioned. Mild language is used.

Why is it important for you to be involved in the politics in your country? As pagans, Wiccans, and general human beings, we need to be involved in the things that interest us as well as protect those around us. It is important for these decisions to be made based on facts and science and not faith and religion. Be the change you wish to see in the world, have compassion for others, and base decisions on laws that affect other people in science and not faith and religion.

Rambly-ramble episode because I've been busy and tired. So, listen to me chat about my garden, our property, and how to be a real witch according to google. Get my live reactions from the crap (and not-so-crap) that you can find on Google about witchcraft and Wicca.

Pro-tip: How to be a real witch? Practice witchcraft!

Note: When speaking about Dianic Wicca, I mention that my issue with Dianic Wicca is that some do not allow transgender women to practice in their coven because they are not anatomically women. This was the incorrect verbiage on my end and I do apologize. If I understand correctly, the proper wording should be anatomically female. Please feel free to reach out to me if this is indeed incorrect.

It might not occur to you, especially if you're a new Wiccan, witch, or Pagan, but there's a lot of misinformation and misrepresentation out there in the world about these topics and anything similar. Its important to learn how to use your critical thinking and common sense to weed through the information and determine what is fact and what is fake. Plus get a bonus cameo from my child!
