Jennifer Robson Founder of Routes and Branches Limited demystifies the recently published White paper: The Future Relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union” explaining to exporters how the proposal is likely to affect their ability to export.  

In the White Paper “The Future Relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union” published July 2018 the Prime Minister sets out the principles in which Brexit negotiations will continue. It addresses the questions raised by the EU and explains how the new relationship would work. What benefits it would deliver to both sides and how it would respect the sovereignty of the UK as well as the autonomy of the EU.  

The white paper sets out the UK’s proposal for a principled and practical Brexit. On the basis of this proposal, the UK’s negotiating team will engage with the EU’s at pace. This means finalising the Withdrawal Agreement and The Framework for the Future relationship.
