Starting off this leg, Ruby and Shea Locke backtrack with Cut...before realizing they are going to need to backtrack anyway. Team Aqua/Magma show up again, dead ends are found, and Mr. Briney gives them a ride to Dewford island where the next gym awaits them. Can they defeat Brawly? Will they find Steven? Why isn't there a Pokemart!? And what trends are popular in Hoenn?
Then, after the episode, Violet makes some new friends, says goodbye to an old one, and gets ready to get back on track to defeat the Vermillion City Gym!
