Mike is an expert in coaching and equipment handling for rowing, specifically rigging for rowing boats! He started his rowing career as a college freshman when he tripped over an oar. That started his passion for protecting rowing equipment and perfecting it's use by rowers. Since then he's won numerous awards for coach of the year (Coach of the Year at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference 2013, National Coach of the Year from College Rowing Coaches Association), been part of World and Olympic rowing teams (Member of the 1992-95 U.S. World Rowing Championship teams and of the 1996 USA Olympic rowing Team that competed in Atlanta, GA) and touched the hearts of many elite rowers with his informative coaching.
