The Colorado Rockies have done a lot since we last had an episode of the podcast and we talk about a lot of it.

We discuss the Ryan McMahon extension (and the only man on Twitter who didn't like it), the Kris Bryant signing, what each move means for the Rockies, PECOTA projections for the team, and the many question marks on the team.

On this episode, Kevin is in Scottsdale at Spring Training with the Rockies and we discuss the Rockies most recent signings.

We give our thoughts on MLB owners and the MLBPA not reaching an agreement before the MLB imposed deadline on Tuesday, including Commissioner Manfred (aka "The Malaprop Machine") and how owners and Manfred still, somehow, believe that we still live in 1994.

We also talk about how the focus will turn to the minor leagues in the near future because of the lockout.

On this episode of the podcast, we talk about a bevy of different things. We talk about the DH with the Colorado Rockies with external and internal options, including the one that Nick Groke of The Athletic says will only happen "if you believe in the tooth fairy." 

We also discuss the lockout with a positive outlook on when it will end and a negative outlook and then we discuss some of the Hall of Fame Era Committee selections that we have been surprised by in a good way or bad way with our series at Call To The Pen.
