I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).
1 Corinthians 12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
On Calvary, Jesus not only took our sins upon Himself but also our sicknesses. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (I Peter 2:24). Jesus didn’t bring just part of an atonement; He brought the full atonement—healing for soul, mind and body.

The Bible says Jesus, our great physician, will even destroy death. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (I Corinthians 15:26).

God Wants to Heal You

The first step toward being healed is deciding that healing is God’s will for you. Does God get glory out of your sickness and pain? I was near death when I was just twenty-three, but the Lord didn’t get any glory out of it until I was healed; and the “hallelujahs” began to flow. I cried, “Thank God, I’m healed! Praise the Lord; He did it!”

If God is getting glory out of your sickness, then stay sick; but if you believe He will get glory out of you being made well, then claim healing. Tell Him you want to glorify His name, and He will listen.

I cannot stress too much that it is the will of the Lord for you to be well. I say again that sickness comes from the devil; and Jesus, the Great Physician, makes you well. Never think that sickness comes from the Lord. The Bible says, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17). Sickness certainly is not a good or a perfect gift; but if you disobey God, you put yourself in the devil’s territory where he can afflict you.

Matthew 13:18-23
Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

" Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord of hosts"
(Zechariah 4:6).
John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits - who forgive
all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the
pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires
with good things so your youth is renewed like the eagles’.

Psalms 103: 2 – 5
Yes, God is still supernaturally healing people today, through the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. Yes, of course God also heals naturally using doctors, medicine, surgery and the natural healing power of the body itself. God is in that too. Yes, if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are entitled to ask God for both natural and supernatural healing, for yourself and others. Yes, any Christian can pray for the sick and receive healing.

I tell you this day come boldly into My presence. You are no more limited to the mere shadow of things to come, for I have made a place for you here by Me
There are healing anointings, as well as moves of peace, joy, praise and prayer. The move of the Spirit can involve quietness or it can be loud and excited. There is not just one way that God moves. Often people only associate one thing with God's movement
John 7:37-39

:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

:38 “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

In this passage, Jesus uses terms related to water like thirst, drink and flowing rivers, but He is not just talking about natural water and natural rivers. Water is one of the symbols for the Holy Spirit and verse 39 shows the rivers refer to the Holy Spirit flowing out of the heart of those who believe.

THE MOVING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
"Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily"
(Colossians 1:29).
The Word of God opens with the moving of the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:2 says, "And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." The word "moved" also means "to brood, flutter, shake." It is the picture of a mother hen brooding over her chicks. Matthew Henry states, "The Spirit of God was the first mover. The Spirit of God begins to work, and if He work, who or what shall hinder?"

I love that the Holy Spirit who dwells in me is a moving Holy Spirit. He moves my heart to repentance when I grieve Him. He moves my heart to love Jesus more. He moves my heart to seek after truth. He moves my heart to encourage, comfort, and bless my family and other people. He is the mover in my heart. But, He cannot move unless I allow Him to move. I love the words of the song, which is the cry of my heart.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (Philippians 3:10).
To know Jesus in His sufferings, you must be willing to suffer for His name’s sake like Paul did. He said, If we suffer [because of doing God’s will], we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us (II Timothy 2:12). If God denies you, you will end up in hell for eternity.
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear [love and honor] thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues (Psalm 31:19,20).

2 Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Revelation 2:12-17..12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Matthew 10:32-33, “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.”
The sure hope we have in the Lord far outweighs any of the current troubles we face. Hold on to the words of Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians 4:17, “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.”
