What a thrill it is to "flow in the Spirit." You feel that what you are doing is worthwhile; you feel authenticated, you feel loved; you know you are a part of something very important—the kingdom of God.
What does it mean to "flow in the Spirit?" It is moving along with Him, keeping in step with Him, and missing nothing He may want to do through us. The joy of flowing in the Spirit is equal to anything God may ever do for us and in us.
God wants intimacy with us, and there is no greater joy than to keep in step with the Spirit. To flow in the Spirit is to learn God's ways, style, gentleness, indignation, impulses, manner of doing things, and His way with people. In other words, flowing in the Spirit is doing what pleases the Spirit and what He


This is what Peter and John were doing when they were walking toward the temple one afternoon but were unexpectedly stopped, only to see the healing of a forty-year old man who had never walked. (See Acts 3:1-10)

John 1:14, "And the word became flesh and dwelt among us", that's it. That's really what happened. God's nature was manifested in an ordinary human life in the actions and the thoughts and words of a human life. That's what happened when Jesus was born. The word became flesh. It expressed itself in the actions and the thoughts and words of an ordinary human being.
I John 4:2,3, "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already."

To Know the Love of Christ. In Ephesians 3:19, Paul's prays that we should "know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge". Can you think of anything else that you and I need to know, that would transcend this?
Our knowledge of Christ's love should be shared. It should be no secret. "I know the love of Christ, mate, what about you?"
and in the knowledge of his cross we find love

We consider it an act of supreme love when someone lays down their life for a friend (Romans 5:7). Jesus laid down his life for those who were not his friends, that they might become his friends.

God Uses Honest Hearts

God wants to use all of His children; but you may think, “I am just a layperson, so I will never have the same effect on people that an apostle or prophet of God has.” If you believe that, then you need to study Stephen. He was not an apostle or a prophet; he was just one who had been chosen to help look after the widows of the church, but he was indeed a true godly servant.
Let Nothing Extinguish Your Light

If you have not been with Jesus, everything will bother you. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful (Mark 4:19). Do you allow family, friends or the cares of this world to make the Word become unfruitful in your life?

Satan and his followers delight in persecuting those who are genuine in their devotion to God; so if you are being persecuted, mocked or taunted by any of the devil’s crowd, fear not for the kingdom of Heaven is yours. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:10-12). When people mock you, they are just advertising the God you carry in your heart; so pay them no mind and shout, “Glory! I have it made.”
Ye are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16). Your life is to be a light in this dark world.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy (I Peter 4:12,13). You will suffer trials and tribulations on this Earth, but you must rejoice knowing that Jesus is soon coming for you.

Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Jesus lived in an agricultural age where His audience is very well familiar with what Christ exactly means. For a plowman to be successful in His work, he must concentrate on the job he started. He knows that the only way is forward and not being distracted by the things left behind.

In case the plowman starts to look back, his plow line would become crooked. If that happens, the field he is plowing will not yield a full harvest.
Why would he become unfit for the kingdom of God?

We are commanded to bear much fruit. When we keep on looking back, we won’t be able to plow our field properly and because of that, we will not have plenty of harvests.

God called us out of this world and once we responded to that call, we must never try to go back to the world. However, because of the many pleasures this world could offer – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – we tend to look back and be regretful of our calling.

When this happens, we are preventing ourselves from bearing much fruit. When God calls us to His church, we are expected to give our whole heart. We are called to love God with all our hearts, soul, and mind. Looking back prevents us from doing this.

AMP 1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!
Philippians 3: 12-14 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
15-16 So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.

THIS TEACHING COMES FROM EPH. CHP.5.. Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.

Don’t let yourselves get taken in by religious smooth talk. God gets furious with people who are full of religious sales talk but want nothing to do with him. Don’t even hang around people like that.

What did Jesus say about idols?
Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.

PSALMS 63?3 In the midst of his wilderness experiences David often found his spirit thirsting for the Lord and his heart yearning for a touch from God - an occurrence that we all too often discover in the barrenness of our own lives or in the dry places in which we often find ourselves. But his thirsting soul does not sit down and weep for long nor spiral into mournful self-pity but starts to earnestly seek the Lord and to claim in his heart the need for a closer walk with God.

It is as he seeks the Lord that he starts to rehearse the many wonders, power, grace and glory that have been displayed in his own life and the lives of countless others, who have trusted Him as saviour and believed in His promises of grace.
