Professor Sofie De Schepper (°1976) is a staff member of the department of Dermatology of the University hospital in Gent since 2007. In 2007 she defended her PhD thesis entitled “Café-au-lait spots in Neurofibromatosis type 1: a step towards unravelling the etiopathogenic mechanisms”. In 2010 she received the title of professor from the University of Gent.
