Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would have ruined the Duke of Westminster's wedding, a royal expert says.

Hugh Grosvenor, 33, today tied the knot with fiancee Olivia Henson, 31, in a lavish ceremony at Chester Cathedral.

The happy couple beamed as they left the chapel before sharing a kiss while thousands of people cheered.

Crowds lined the streets for hours to try get a glimpse of the couple on their big day, which has been dubbed the society wedding of the year.

Not even Just Stop Oil eco jobs, who let off an orange fire extinguisher near the church, dampened Hugh and Olivia's big day.

But Royal commentator Katie Nicholl said one thing could have ruined the day - Harry and Meghan.

A ROYAL expert has told how he watched Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rip apart royal staff. 

Speaking on The Sun’s new show, Royal Exclusive, Richard Palmer revealed there were always “huge inquests” after every engagement the duke and duchess carried out. 

It comes as the royal couple this week hired a new communication officer, Charlie Gipson, who will represent them in the UK. 

Mr Palmer was quick to point out that things were not smooth sailing with their last comm secretary - Sara Latham. 

US born Latham, who formerly worked for Hilary Clinton, was placed in charge of the couple while they were still working royals. 

However, she was forced to deal with a PR storm when a bullying complaint was raised against Meghan - which saw 10 royal aides be interviewed by the palace. 

Speaking to The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson, Mr Palmer explained: "Sara was in a really difficult situation. She was caught between a rock and a hard place".

The Duchess of Sussex will reportedly soon launch a new series on "cooking, gardening and friendship".

She and Harry reportedly have two untitled non-fiction projects in production.

The shows form part of the "creative partnership" Archewell Productions signed with the streaming giant in 2020.

The first series will focus on Meghan and explore "the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship", according to Deadline.

But the idea has been blasted by royal biographer Ingrid Seward.
