In Matthew 4:17 Jesus announces that the Kingdom of God is here and available now. As stewards of what God has given us, we have the task to use our gifts from God to expand his kingdom here… now.

You have heard the phrase, “Membership has its privileges.” Sometimes we get stuck in the commercial mindset of church… what can the church do for me? How can I receive blessings from the church? But the truth of the matter is we are blessed when we give to others… and through the church that is with our presence, prayers, gifts, service, and witness

One of the most difficult parts of being in community is being real. Letting those around you know the real you. It’s easy to put up a mask and only let out the best you, but God wants all of you, not just the part you feel is best for the world to see.

As we continue to build each other up, there is a tendency to stay quiet and let everyone else do the talking. When that happens, the best part of the conversation is left out. YOU!

Pursuing God, knowing God, understanding God, these are tasks we as humans set out to understand. As we continue in our study of community, how can our work as a community allow us to understand God fully?

Pastor Chris begins the Community series with the message "Show Up." This week we are starting another round of Community Groups, our hope is that you grab a study, gather a group of friends, and then grow together in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Part of the battle is just showing up!
